Didn’t watch the game. How’d we play?
First half good despite Ramsdale shitting the bed, second half bad despite Ramsdale being good.
Like a team playing the fifth or sixth different cm combination this season against a supremely well drilled pressing and defending side that luckily includes Saka.
We didn’t seem to get settled in the first half. Ramsdale was dropping howlers, we weren’t progressing all that great.
Second half better, but Brentford absolutely packed the box and we struggled to get clear chances. Ramsdale got better but didn’t have much to do. Trossard did not impress in midfield, think it was the wrong game to expect a positive performance from him.
Havertz gave us another dimension, we were crying out for better height in midfield all game and ultimately that became the game winner for us in the last moments.
Overall a frustrating game but a hard won 3 points
