Watching Oshimen highlights remind me of Auba. Is he really what we need in our system which doesn’t work well with a striker who can’t link up?
The players make the system, we will obviously switch styles if such a striker arrives
I don’t think we’d be able to play the system we play now. We’d probably have to tweak some things to make an out and out goal scorer work similar to how City did.
Prime Auba would kill in this team Saka and Martinelli will get the space since Auba will drag atleast 2 CBs everytime.
Would work wonder with Saka but not with Neil imo. Low block teams would double-team both of them while neither can linkup like Trossard and Jesus. IMO Neli need someone like Giroud or Jesus to unlocks him.
He needs two other names; an LCM and an ultra-creative force wide. All strikers we might we might need that.
