Hi everyone 👋 I’m thinking about switching from my iPhone to a Samsung (S23 Ultra maybe) but as I’m a 8 years+ iPhone user, I have some questions about the switch

  1. I really need a function like Hide my Email that my iPhone has, does something like this exist on Android/Samsung ?

  2. I listen a lot of podcasts and Overcast is one of the best app I’ve ever used for that. Is there an equivalent ? (With cutting silence and such options)

  3. Is Samsung wallet as good as Apple Wallet?

  4. Is the Watch as good as the Apple one’s (connectivity and features like sports and pay with the watch) ?

  5. And is it worth on your opinion ?

Thanks for your time and your answers Have a great day 😊

For a true android experience, never get a phone with a different UI. Stock android is the winner. Try motorola or pixel or any other android phone. If you want value the look at xiaomi, and china phones

Is OneUI that bad ? I always read that it’s a better way to discover Android than a stock one especially when you come from iOS Is it that different?

Look up videos on YouTube for comparing One UI and stock. One UI is the closest to iOS you will find in Android. Stock Android enthusiasts will say One UI is shit but it’s not. It comes with lots of features meanwhile stock Android is just stock.

Even as an iPhone usr I know that “customization” is one of androids biggest advantages. That does include different UIs.
