Yes battery life is very poor on the s22 models. The chip is power hungry and it eats a lot of battery even with everything disabled. Samsung fixed the issue with s23 models.

Look up videos on YouTube for comparing One UI and stock. One UI is the closest to iOS you will find in Android. Stock Android enthusiasts will say One UI is shit but it’s not. It comes with lots of features meanwhile stock Android is just stock.
Not software. The chip is power hungry.
Avoid S22 Ultra at all cost. The battery is a joke. The chip is super power hungry. You can disable everything and it will still drain your battery. Samsung fixed this issue in S23 Ultra. I bought both phones on launch day and recently just switched to iPhone 15.
Indisputably is just a buzz word and I wouldn’t agree with One UI being the system on the planet. It offers more customization but animations and stability is miles ahead in iOS. Android is still owned by Google and Samsung is the middle man trying to improve it. In the past few years, Google has been excluding features to make their pixel phone stand out which is not good for Samsung in the long run.
Battery is good but animations are not polished as it should be.
Give it about a week, it should normalize after this big update
😂 that’s hilarious. I was in the beta program and it was wild how many features they left hanging and rushed launching one ui 6.0
Lots of companies copy each other but I noticed Samsung copies a lot Apple. Recently I moved from Samsung to iPhone and it’s wild how many things are similar but Samsung version feels rushed while Apple version feels polished and well thought out.
It does not! I owned s22 ultra and s23 ultra. The camera holes does not align same on s23 ultra!!! It’s too tight.
I couldn’t get used to the size of ultra and end up switching. Because of to weird shape it doesn’t even have good cases
Yes it absolutely transfers everything. Connect both phone via usb type c to each other. Open smart switch on both phones and follow the instructions. It will give you all list of everything you want to transfer or not.

Good job Samsung 🤣
Good job Samsung 🤣
Sadly this is true.
Because Android updates are done by Google. Apple owns the software and the hardware which is why they roll out faster
If he is already using an iPhone it will be hard transition for him switching away from iMessage and getting used to a new system but it’s your call. I would stay safe and get him an iPhone upgrading.
find out online or from the post office what was the weight of the box vs what’s the weight of combined weight of S23 plus with Galaxy watch 6. That should be one of your evidence. Samsung support a joke outsourced full of scammers and thieves but hopefully someone will help you out.
Ads are still there, Samsung removed it from some apps such as weather, Samsung Music but they are still there in other places, stand by time is still there, not too bad on s23 ultra, shutter lag is still there, improved a little but it’s there, hopefully it improves on s24 ultra which is coming in January. I would wait for that before switching
