I’d love to know what interests you outside a normal football game

I’m talking about stadiums, trophies, kits, stats, balls, etc.

For me, I’m really invested in kits, and their history, design and aesthetic appeal. Also been attending more games outside my city, and I’ve become more intrigued by stadiums and its specificities.

So, what is that thing football-related, that you love?

Truly love the classic old english stadiums that are almost extinct right now. Those that were so incorporated into the neighbour that it was a “neighbour” too. Those were you could walk to the stadium along those working class terraced houses, almost like the once you see in such as peaky blinders etc. Also the structure of the stadium itself… Hard to find more beautiful stadiums than old highburry … or villa park… A masterpiece… and all the local life that were around those stadiums… with pubs that had been there since the mourning… the corner shop were you could catch your local food. Word to think that next year another one of those (Goodison Park) will be gone…

As soon as my six year old sits down to watch a match, he comments on the goalkeeper kits.

    retro kits

like the ones from 2000s era

but just kits in general I always pay a lot of attention to

Last few years I’ve really liked the designs inter Milan have come up with
