That’s a tough run but if you want to be champs you’ll have to produce on runs like this.
Honestly I’d be disappointed if we don’t come away with 16 points come the end of 2023. Only games that worry me are Villa and Liverpool away. I think the home games need to be wins, no if’s or buts about it. Especially want to end this hoodoo with Brighton at the Emirates. Luton and Fulham also need to be 6 points, we can’t be dropping points there.
Great we got the CL top spot in the group sorted so we can rest quite a few first team players before that Brighton game. Liverpool to Fulham run is where Arteta will need to use the squad well.
It’s a tough run of games but I think we’re in a good spot. The others have a tour run too. City only has Villa but they also have the club World Cup, 2 games. Liverpool has United but they the EFL three days before they face us. Villa has an away Europe game. Newcastle has a must win CL game and an EFL cup game against Chelsea. I’d stay S***s has the easiest run. No cup games and the only hard game would be Brighton.
If we can keep in first place until January and we get back Timber and Partey we’re in a good spot. As well as not getting other important injuries of course. If Jesus survives this period I’d be sceptic against bringing in another striker. I’d rather see a backup signing or someone to develop.
