I really don’t get why Gabriel isn’t in the back line. That allows us so much more security and let’s white push to the wing - when he shifted this match we changed the game.

I’m quite wondering why this is happening? Is it issues in training or is there a knock they’re trying to manage so it doesn’t get exacerbated?

Haven’t heard any hint of an injury at all, and he probably would have mentioned it himself.

same shit , happens in every game, we look hungry, sharp and keep the pressure high when we’re losing or drawing. Once we start leading we just stop functioning, it’s like the team is unsure what to do next after scoring.

Though as I say that, we had over 3 xG. We’re also back to not being able to finish to save our lives, and keepers going super saiyan against us…

Not really that great goalkeeping considering half the shots were just directly at Leno’s hands

It’s true, I don’t know what was going on with that but even Saka and Martinellie who tend to get creative with their placement were just going center mass all day

can’t be challenging for the title if we cant even beat a 10-men fulham at home.

What happened to our set piece defending? We were great two seasons ago at that.

I think Arteta really needs to concede that the Partey in the back isn’t working. I think it’s a fitness issue but I like to see Zinchenko starting soon. This is also the first game that Havertz frustrated me, you were right in front of the goal, get the ball. Ødegaard is a workhorse but he hasn’t been as sharp.

Thank god for Eddie, and a very decent performance for Fabio is a positive.

On watching replays, Leno was absolutely outside the box. Disgusting how VAR said “nah it’s fine” again when it’s against us

    • Well, we know know for certain how VAR really works and it explains all the bullshittery we’ve seen in the Premier League implementation since inception. Especially compared to other competitions. English VAR is just a white-labelled repackaging of the terrible English referees.

Saka was the only one between whoever scored the second and the open net. And he received it on his feet.

We’re that bad at defending set pieces.

Just gonna point out, if refs actually gave us fouls when we deserve them we’d have easily beat them, and wouldn’t have conceded the second goal.
