Yea it’s been known this happens. Fergie used to do it and now many managers do. It’s the only way to combat the ridiculous amount of international games

If Liverpool got what they got for Fabinho from Saudi, imagine what they could get for Salah even when he eventually starts to fall off or lose his pace. Don’t see how Liverpool don’t win in this situation by keeping him
What does the yellow circles mean?
Liverpool has a very good chance of beating City this weekend. You are acting as if you need excuses
I was hoping to hear from Brighton fans about him not some journalist discussing stupid rumors
Didn’t Everton cooperate with the prem as well? Like a 10 point deduction for being over 20 mil seems like a lot
How has he been for Brighton
This is quite old now
When people praise Brighton, they seem to praise their scouting only. I think what people miss is that Brighton has always had a clear strategy and pathway for young players. They always loan them out early to progress in easier leagues, then provide a very clear pathway to first team minutes and give them plenty of opportunities there. The very best teams in the world have much less opportunity to test out young players and give them opportunities when they are chasing silverware
I think calling some of them “rejects” is a bit unfair but I see your point
Look at why Barcelona (not saying City is close to prime Barca) had trouble producing players from their academy after their golden generation. You need to have the space and opportunity for young player to learn and grow, and when you have such a settled and elite squad as City, players like Palmer won’t get that opportunity.
Tbf, the Middle East gave Liverpool good money for their old players that they needed to sell. Was a win-win for both sides
He’s a Chelsea academy graduate, a long-time fan, and current captain at quite a young age. I’m not really sure why anyone thinks he would leave rn
Everyone knows that the U21s assistant manager is the real source of all of Jurgen Klopps success. Not sure how they cope without him. Klopp to be sacked within the month
In other sports, such as American Football, I think the idea of “clear and obvious error” or “indisputable evidence” as it’s called there makes sense and often works out. I’m not really sure it makes sense in football. So many things like red card offenses or fouls in the box are too subjective, and refs can just hide behind “clear and obvious errors” because there isn’t always a very set rules on what constitutes a foul. I think removing the “clear and obvious error” would hopefully make VAR a bit better
Boring game. Nothing remotely exciting happens. Crowd wasn’t in it. Both teams look bored and had no passion. 0/10
These aren’t groups. These are the pots to determine the groups. US won’t play anyone in pot 1 in the groups
