W for including maldini defenders deserve more respect when it comes to greatest debates

This is such a tough question but the first person who came to mind was Maldini. Defenders are almost never talked abt in goat debates but for me he was the greatest defender ever and if Cristiano and Pele etc didn’t exist, then I would prob say him. I am a little bias as I am a defender but he deserves the respect his defending was elegant
