They are all under contract. If the leagues suffer monetary damages, they can sue all the players/clubs/managers responsible for said damages.

So if anyone were to take a stand against this, it would have to be the clubs (which they won’t cause that would mean less money).

As a player I love the versatility of the sport.

There are so many different aspects to playing the game well, so many different ways, individually and as a team.

The physicality, technical skills, tactical possibilities and sometimes just wit. It really is a game that offers so many options in the way you play it.

That is an impossible task. But to simplify it somewhat I will exclude greats like Zidane and Cruijf who wore nr 10 but made a name for themselves with a different number.

Look you are not going pro but you can improve enough to be a decent player in a Sunday league team.

My advice would be to focus on ball mastery first. That means just practice being in control of the ball in different situations. A lot of people would focus on passing/shooting which is important, but you can’t pass or shoot if you don’t control the ball beforehand. Wether it is during a dribble or with a first touch after receiving/intercepting the ball.

There are several ways to improve ball mastery. Wiel Coërver has produced a method that is used all over the world to improve this with exercises you can do alone or with teammates. If you search YouTube you will find examples enough.

Once you have a decent ball mastery you can practice everything else.

I’ve always been right footed until at age 19 I decided I wanted to be better with my left and after shooting and passing a lot with my left (after 2 years approximately), I’ve found that there are several instances where I could do some type of kicks better with my left and others with my right.

I think the main takeaway is that you can improve whichever hand or foot you want to improve by just doing it and your brain will adapt.
