There is only one appropriate punishment for this: for every season they cheated they must going forward be managed by Tim Sherwood.

If decades of comedic refereeing haven’t affected the league’s popularity neither will VAR.
Because he’s insecure and ulikeable.
Who is Julian Alvarez?
Who is Julian Alvarez?
Instead of drawing microscopic lines in front of players we’ll be drawing them behind players. This doesn’t fix the problem.
They must be managed by Tim Sherwood for 3 seasons.
Well, now. Who would have thought that an obscene number of football games played each year would have affected these mere humans in a negative way. I for one am stunned by this news.
I don’t blame them. This sort of thing happens every time there’s a pointless international break.
Man City should give some of their “sponsors” to the other 14 clubs.
But that’s my point. Why are we expecting the supporters to take the high moral ground here? Why aren’t football authorities held to the same standard?
I don’t know. If my club suddenly got bought by a country and was able to buy success perpetually, I don’t know how I would react. I’d like to think my rational self would take over and I would stop supporting the club, but it’s just as likely that the emotional/irrational self would take control.
Ultimately, I think it’s unfair to criticize supporters or look down on them. They aren’t the problem. The governing bodies allowing state ownership of clubs is the problem.
How silly is it to allow a country to buy a club but then not allow them to spend their own money to fulfill the purpose behind buying the club in the first place. The whole thing is bananas.
There’s barely a possibility that they will be punished at all.
This is stupid. If anything, Everton were a more successful club before breaching FFP rules. Spending money in violation of the rules did not cause them to avoid relegation, arguably poor spending got them into the relegation fight to begin with.
Well, when you have more sponsors than supporters…
The clown car just keeps rolling on. Coming to a city near you next.
