Aguero and Alvarez, both for city. Their shooting and movement is very similar imo

The 2 pens against city and chelsea and psg weren’t very good… Also not saying he was bad just saying he wasn’t ‘the best’ that year

Very unpopular opinion but Benzema last year, he did not ‘carry’ real madrid, yes he was topscorer in ucl and got a lot of goals in all competitions but his performances imo weren’t enough for ballon d’or. Not even best of his team that year.

And honarable mention is modric, croatia had a very good squad full of talented players, and same with madrid. He didn’t carry either of his team, he is a world class player but again not enough for a ballon d’or.

And no I don’t hate madrid, just don’t think these 2 deserved best player of the year.

I won’t say who I wanted to win those years because it is clearly personal bias.
