They must be some good looking dudes if they can prevent devastating injury on looks alone.

The VAR official in tomorrow’s Liverpool/City match wore a navy blazer to a formal function last month. I know Navy isn’t a City color, but its a shade a blue and that says a lot that the premier league would have the audacity to have him officiate in any capacity in such a big game.
I think fans of club teams often underestimate how much players like playing for their national sides. While we view international breaks as inconveniences the players for the most part enjoy being back with their national team teammates and friends and playing for their country.
I guess that means my answer is, no I don’t think there is a conspiracy in which city players are faking injuries to rest up for the PL
Notorious poor club Chelsea .
Also yes decisions have gone against City. The rashford goal in the derby last year was one of the most agregious VAR farces of the 2022-23 season. As for this year against wolves Hwang didnt get sent off for a clear second yellow and then went on the score the winner. But keep the tin foil hats on lads.
This comment thread is top tier. Almost up there with the time city donated all those AED machines
I don’t expect nor want apologies. Refereeing in general, across all sport… is random as hell. It’s inconsistent and for the most part it’s incompetent. But that’s human error. City got the short stick today but … and I’m sure everyone else knows this…and will say it… city have had a good share of favorable calls as well. Shit happens.
