1 year agoI don’t know how to accept that isn’t a foul. Like if I have to recalibrate my understanding of the rules of football to include joelintons action as acceptable then nothing makes sense. You can use your arms to control another player as long as that player has already made a movement towards the ball? Like if gabriel wasn’t there then joelinton completely misses the ball by a solid foot, almost like he wasn’t playing the ball at all and was only concerned with pushing gabriel out of the way
Tbf that’s v midfielders when he hasn’t played as a true midfielder most of his games. According to that site he is 70th perctile in goals and above the 97th in shots and xG and 85th in xA against other midfielders which is very far from a non factor in attack. If his confidence and shots can improve then those could become great numbers
