Its quite simple. Ashley Cole was potentially the best LB in the world in 2006 and also somewhat forced his way out of Arsenal. All of those other players were either out of favour, or not bought as starters anyways.

Literally no one except for PSG can afford him, potentially Madrid could but I doubt they would be willing to make the sacrifices to keep him on his current wages.
I think that’s partially by design for PSG. They know Ligue 1 has very little pull, so they need to be a great prospect in the CL and pay astronomical wages to keep a player like Mbappe. Will he still want to leave for a pay cut?
Are you okay mate? I was just making a correction on what he promised.
The money was promised to victims of the war in Ukraine. A small difference in phrasing is a massive difference in what can be done with the funds. Abramovich wanted them to be for both Russian and Ukraine civilians.
It’s either Everton or Chelsea. Quite hard to really say who from this graph
Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Ozil all attacking midfielders and not eligible to be greatest central midfielders imo.
If only they just created a fake sponsorship deal for £7m year. What idiots
The extent of Chelsea’s cheating and cities cheating are barely even comparable. It’s like one slapped a grandma and the other committed a genocide.
It certainly helps, or at least should. Thought City’s tactic of denying, bribing and throwing lawyers at it seems to be working better.
Where as Haaland only had hold of Cucurella’s short for a short period?
He would have needed to get a first yellow to be given a 2nd
Two blokes born and raised in England are scumbags for playing for England
Michael Ballack was certainly a success.
A few different reasons for me. Firstly the football leaks exposed City and PSG as having absolutely took the piss in terms of fair market value for sponsoring themselves. Though that evidence wasn’t obtained legally and likely wouldn’t be admissible in court. I recall emails from the club acknowledging they were missing ffp and deciding they needed another £10m a year UAE sponsorship deal given by their owners.
After that there have been articles published by respectable journalists investigating some of their sponsors. They have been getting millions a year from companies that straight up don’t exist. Companies where the CEO on LinkedIN is just an actors headshot.
It had been obvious to everyone they were financially doping in some way. Their revenues have been astronomical for years. There was no way they had managed to legitimately grow them so fast. I live in london and have seen many adverts on my Twitter to buy tickets to city games. They don’t really have many fans compared to other top clubs for one. Of course commercial income isn’t solely down to how many fans you have, but there’s no way they legitimately make more commercial revenue than Real Madrid.
