Would be nice if an African country takes it for once. But I doubt it will happen, with all the corruption going on, stopping players from playing there.

That being said, maybe Japan or South Korea. Only two contenders I can think or having any chance.

Lasse Schöne vs Real Madrid. That freekick. I’m an Ajax fan so it’s hard to be subjective, but I think Schöne, despite being very important and having a great kick, is pretty average. Certainly wasn’t our best player.

Not exclusively, but almost, yeah. I simply don’t care about other clubs than Ajax. I’ll watch another occasional CL game or whatever, but that’s about it. Don’t like how many other teams play anyway.

Because Messi was born with an incredible talent, whereas Ronaldo had to put in crazy work and dedicate his life to it to get on his level. His work ethic is absolutely admirable.

Legend. He shone before I was born, but I’ve heard many stories about his goals. And only good things about the man himself. One of the best, if not the best header we’ve had. Absolutely crazy stays. Rest in peace, legend.

Mid 90s Ajax was magnificent and it was a great season imo. Sad they didn’t pull it off again in 2019.

Because Ajax didn’t just surprise everybody, they did it with good football and great results. That game against Real got Tadić a (well deserved but rare) 10/10 L’Equipe.

Messi definitely didn’t deserve all of them. Most, yes, definitely not all.
