Oh me of little faith in Galatasaray! Now just need Bayern to do their job and FCK/Gal to not draw LOL

Just have this sinking feeling United will pull out round of 16 qualification. Just like they’ve been pulling out atrocious league wins, despite looking like a lower half team every week. Here’s hoping Bayern humbled them in game 6, and FCK/Galatasary don’t just 0-0 draw in their last match.
Honestly my assumption is that City are going to pull it out, whether it’s close or a runaway. Will probably feel this way until they are mathematically eliminated from winning it. I do think Arsenal and Liverpool will be the biggest threats - who you consider the bigger one is 100% dependent on which club you hate more or are biased for/against lol.
I’ll get downvoted for this for sure, but Rashford. Exclusively on the pitch. Probably a combo of MU fans hyping him up way too much, and he always seems to score what I would consider fluky/lucky goals against Arsenal regardless of if he’s in form or not.
Agreed, and the entire idea that stripping City’s titles = giving them retroactively to the 2nd place finisher is dumb. Remove City from the equation in a particular season and everything about a season changes. 2nd place didn’t win the title, and there’s no guarantee that they would have if City hadn’t existed in the PL. Whole season just gets an asterisk if it’s up to me, nobody gets credited with the win.
Same deal for example in baseball for the 2017 Astros win, in no scenario whatsoever should the Dodgers be awarded the World Series trophy, even if the title had been stripped from the Astros. 2017 just doesn’t have a World Series winner in that case, with the note being one of the teams cheated. But the Dodgers didn’t “win” the trophy, and it’s impossible to know if they would have if Houston hadn’t cheated.
OP is just a Spurs fan who wanted to get a random shot in at Saka lol.
Like others have said, I’d argue the quality is substantially higher due to a bunch of factors listed in this thread, and the gap between elite and very good players is much smaller than it used to be.
Not if it’s a rival “big six” team or Newcastle. Any other team I’m either neutral on or somewhat rooting for - like Brighton in Europa and Villa in Conference this year, it’d be cool to see them make deep runs or even win the cup.
United about to stumble face first into a win here lmao. From what I’ve been hearing, officiating has been shambolic throughout though. Just don’t understand how it can be so inconsistent and inept.
Premier League: MU, Liverpool, and Arsenal Europe: Pick 3 of Real Madrid, Barcelona, MU, Liverpool, and Bayern
