I know this isn’t a deal-breaker for most people, but I love interconnectivity between devices, and right now I feel the only brands that offer “state-of-the-art” products in that area are Apple and Samsung. I don’t like the former as I’ve never had an iPhone (I’ve only got a MacBook recently) and I find it too garden-walled, so I went for the latter. Also, small characteristics like split screen and that Edge on the side for fast access to apps, as well as getting new features easily, make me stay. Also, I feel they offer more features for less money than Apple, so that’s another reason for me.
