- Being a teacher usually requires a Master’s degree. She very probably has student debt.
Yeah, if I were Vlad, I’d find a way to magic myself up a nose; he looks way better with one than without.
I feel like there is a difference between voting for someone and voting against someone.
I don’t like how noted war criminal amd possible lizard person Dick Cheney endorsed Harris, but Cheney has never said, “I like what Harris is going to do”; instead, he tried to frame it as a vote against Trump because…well, it’s Trump.
And of course, right-wingers don’t have any capability for self-reflection, because the proper response to fucking Dick Cheney calling you evil is to look in the mirror and ask yourself some hard questions.
Only stupid people try the medicine drug. You are stupid.
The plot badly needs some pruning shears taken to it; to say that it moves at a snails pace is an insult to snails. Like, why did we need an entire faux high school arc? There’s plot-relevant stuff there, but they can cut most of that and the game would be better. Filler arcs in a story that’s…what, ten games now? That’s why this series is still obscure, despite there being a lot to like here.
If you need something to scratch that JRPG itch, you can do a lot worse, and there’s a reason this series shows up on “hidden gems” list. But…damn. There’s so much content and story, and a fair chunk is little better than filler.
Mark Meer is great, and definitely worth playing thru to experience. Not quite at the same level as Jennifer Hale’s performance, but it was still absolutely brilliant.
Still, I hear this every time I hear Shepard talk to Dr. Chakwas.
Bloodborne: Complete Edition for PC, with new and rearranged weapons (I hate how the only strength+bloodtinge weapon is near the end of the DLC area), armor sets, and restored cut content. I’d especially love for them to go thru the chalice dungeons and eliminate most of the reskinned and duplicate fights.
Bloodborne is good enough to stand alone; I’m not sure where they could go with a sequel.
Journeys (the shoe chain) and Hollister Co. both use Linux distros on their point of sale machines. Hollister’s machines are pretty locked down and can basically only run the RPoS software, but a lot of Journeys’ software is browser-based, so they have to be a bit more capable.
Pretty sure they’re both custom distros, though.
A man who died a slow and excruciating death of lung cancer after spending most of his career denying that smoking caused cancer.
Good riddance.
An entire fandom has been pronouncing “Evangelion” wrong for the past quarter-century.
It’s supposed to be pronounced with a hard G, like hair gel.
He done already sold it, if the empty classified documents folders they found at Mar-a-Lago are any indication.

Since Republicans are using the law to dismantle the law, I fear that we’re at a point where it is necessary for Biden and Democrats to break the law in order to save it. I don’t have a lot of faith in that happening, but seeing Biden step aside for Harris makes me hope that they see the GOP as the existential threat that they are and weighing every option.
Regardless, we have to lend legitimacy to whatever they try to do, and we do that by running up the score in November. Harris has to win in dominating fashion, and if Republicans try to ratfuck their way into power, we cannot go quietly.
To my knowledge, it’s the first time in history that a non-nuclear power invaded and occupied territory belonging to a nuclear power.
So, that’s even more dubious history Putin played a part in.
Ahh, yes, good. I’d been agreeing with her on things recently and was starting to question my sanity. A reminder that she’s still a vile piece of shit was badly needed.
There’s only a handful of places, bosses, and enemies where resistance gear is helpful, but even then, it’s by no means required.
Besides, the drip is more important. Look good, feel good, hoont good.
Someone has never had to deal with DHL.
You’d think the Germans would be fantastic at logistics, but in this case, you’d be very wrong.
You can also assign some more blame to FDR for not having the masterminds of the Business Plot hanged.
We had a song in Sunday School that was just the books of the Bible. I could hear it in my head while reading your post.
Meet the new boss; same as the old boss.
