Does the rest of Europe and the world dislike international breaks as much as we do in England ?

I was having this discussion with friends and I think it directly correlates with the quality of the league of your country.

For example Spain England Germany will dislike them as they would prefer to see their clubs playing , but for Croatia their national team is better than their club teams so they enjoy it.

I could be totally wrong so please let me know !

    Brazilian here. I love international breaks, I only resent seeing more south american vs european friendly fixtures, that became much more rare after the Nations League came up. Playing for your country is a major honor here

      Wasn’t there a plan for a European South American nations league? I can’t remember what became of it but what’s your opinion on it?
