    Biggabi.

    Gabi and Kos are so close but I think Gabi takes it on size and athleticism. And injury record of course. What can Koscielny do that Gabi cannot? I love Kos btw

      if only he weren’t injury prone… him and Kos could’ve given us some stability to build on, not to mention Vermaelen had a knack of scoring goals too

      I was waiting for this. Vermaelen probably won’t be included in the team but absolutely deserves it. He was amazing when fit on both end of the pitch, would love to have his long range shooting options in today’s team.

      Also he played on the left CB position.

    It’s probably Koscielny, but Gabriel has the chance to over take him in time if we win a PL/CL trophy, because their levels aren’t far apart, so then it would come down to their achievements at the club.

    Unrelated but something interesting I had last night: I haven’t had a night dream in a very long time, definitely never had a dream related to football anyway. Last night, I saw that we were playing Wolves. The game was very close until Trossard broke the deadlock at 88 min mark. A minute later Raya was chipped at near post by Cunha to make it 1-1. Very similar to Mudryk goal but from inside the penalty area and a lot close to the goal. The game ended 1-1 and Arteta was visibly upset. He had arguments with Raya on the pitch. Raya was also visibly frustrated telling Arteta he was told to position himself that way or be there. Why the fuck am I dreaming about this all of the sudden? When do we play Wolves? I’m gonna have a nightmare if we’re tied going into last 10 minutes.

      Gabi has been world class the past year but it has to be Kosc for me. Looking at our fullbacks I think a back 3 would’ve been the best fit though

      It’s obvious it’s big Gabi. Kos was good, but we were a banter team in those years. He was also easily bullied by bigger attackers, not that great in the air, and average distribution. I get rose tinted glasses but does anyone think Kos would be in the starting 11 of the curent team ?
