Xhaka first 3 years could easily be in there

It’s obvious it’s big Gabi. Kos was good, but we were a banter team in those years. He was also easily bullied by bigger attackers, not that great in the air, and average distribution. I get rose tinted glasses but does anyone think Kos would be in the starting 11 of the curent team ?

For me the pairing has be Gabi and Saliba. If someone offered me peak Kos or peak Mert to replace Gabi, I wouldn’t take either. Mert was far too slow for the football we play, and Kos was good but not great. It’s clear for me, Gabi and Saliba all the way
