I think he is very talented in terms of dribbling and ball control but in recent times whenever former footballers are asked about future balon d or contenders, his name is always mentioned but he is 23 years of age now and still he is not a starter for man City ,his best position is up for debate(rw or advanced 8)and while he has put in some good performances for city I have not seen enough from him to say he will be a future balon d or contender consistently. He seems like Bernardo Silva level player to me which is a very good player but not a balon d or contender(consistently) player. He also resembles him in style quite a bit.

I’m a red and I would love for those two fuckers to be in our squad. Think an issue for foden, which isn’t really an issue and admittedly I don’t watch city every week so could be wrong, is that I can’t say what his best position is. What do you lot think of it?

I think the main issue is that his best position is in conflict with the best player in the world at that position. In the games this season where he plays that KDB role of a free roaming tempo setter, he does phenomenal.

It’s not a bad point as he’s a bit of a Milner (not a direct comparison, just as a City player who seems somewhat positionally homeless). For some reason, Guardiola plays him on the left instead of on the right; typically, Pep would place him where he could cut in and shoot on his stronger foot. But not with Phil (as with Jesus).
