  • I mean if you really want to have the discussion, than you could argue that Saka and Tomiyasu were both worse than Havertz.

Both played fine, but Havertz was better, and consistantly making good runs and giving good passes.

But Saka and Tomi are two of the most loved players on this sub, so you won’t hear it. Rightfully so by the way, I love them both as well.

Thing is, Tomi had a stinker for the goal we conceded. He also didn’t do many other things exceptionelly well. Just a solid game, with one major mistake leading to a goal.

Saka was quiet all game, but he had an assist, so I guess that evens out.

Havertz was the reason that our attacking play had some movement towards it. When he got subbed off, the attacking play completely stopped

  • I think it has mainly to do with the lack of available top managers. If there were replacements available, ETH would be out for sure. But who are you going to replace him with. Potter?

Chelsea have realised that they can’t keep sacking players, no matter how shit the results are this season (unless we are talking about genuine relegation danger).

Crystal palace are doing Crystal palace things, so nothing will change there. The bottem three is as expected. Wolves getting results just in time for them to consider sacking the manager. Silva has enough credit based on the previous 2 seasons to not be in danger.

I genuinly think the one that might be in danger the most could be Howe, because of the ruthlessness of oil clubs. I don’t think anyone is in danger, and I don’t think the Saudis sack Howe, but I imagine that if he gets in the bottem half of the table there might be trouble. Also depending on his cup performances ofcourse

  • He isn’t underpeforming and the talent is definitly there, but his decision making is shocking in my opinion. And I don’t think it’s a case of that he doesn’t see it, its just that he is incredibly selfish.

Yesterday in the first half I think there was a moment where he came barreling down the right with the ball in his feet. He had an option in Reece james overlapping, and an even better option in Gallagher at the edge of the penalty area, compeltely free. Instead he chose to try and attempt to shoot the ball through 2 or 3 City players for his trademark goal.

There were several moments like that where he really should have passed instead of going for his own glory. Will be curious to see how more senior players like Nkunku will handle his egoism.
