Well … that does mean youre giving them access to any device connected to that account. There is no restrictive view that lets them control only 1 light

The only way to let her into your wifi switches is to let her into your wifi. Its too complicated to get them to learn it. Id say you rather just create 2-3 extra scheduled turn off times, so if it ever misses one turn off command, it will catch the next one.
Its just caching ram in flash. Computers have been doing this for decades already
I live alone. I just never lock the bathroom door. And I also have a Google Assistant device in my living room that can possibly make phone calls for me if i shout out loud from a bathroom
In 2023, both sides are equally competent options. If you live in the US, the iMessage supremacy is real and theres no Android alternative. If you live anywhere else, it makes no difference. All the apps you want are on both iOS and Android. Cameras, battery life, screen resolution … all pretty much the best you can get on both sides (dont let the hardcore fanboys sway you). If you previously use your Mac to answer phone calls and made FaceTime calls, you may miss that continuity between your phone and Mac.
Just head over to trygalaxy.com on your iPhone to get a feel for the UI.
As Im sure you know, its a considerably more fragile phone with degradable components. It isnt gonna last you more than 3 years (screen wear near the fold), and dropping it will cost you quite a bit in repairs. So if you have the disposable income to allow for all that, you absolutely can go for it.
On the other hand, an S21 plus should absolutely last you another 2-3 years. I have a Note10 that I think will last me another year easily.
Theres always a market for small powerful devices. It isnt as mainstream, but theres a fair few of us who would rather get the smallest version of the device available. Devices like the S10e, S23, iPhone13Mini, iPadMini all exist because people sometimes dont want a compromised experience just because its smaller. The S9FE isnt even in the same league as the S9 in performance and smoothness of UI.
You gotta realize that reddit is a bit of an echo chamber. People arguing that the S23FE is terrible cuz its 0.5% worse than the S22 in some very specific aspect. Any Samsung S series phone of the past 2-3 years will serve you just fine.
Do Samsung employees tend to always have the latest phone, or do you still see people rocking their S10 at work ?
