Manchester United. Bring it.
Manchester United. Bring it.
Well we try but sometimes they pick Madrid.
Right now? Yes, absolutely.
A year from now? Should be a top-half of the table team… maybe top 6.
City has a history, it’s just that we weren’t as successful as we are now for most of it. We won the league twice ('37 and '68) before the 7 wins we’ve had since 2012.
Manchester United, while more successful, isn’t totally different by the way. Up until 1992 they had won the league 7 times; from 92 to 2013 they won it 13 times. So most of their success is in the PL era and specifically under SAF.

I love Phil. But Pep called him the most talented player he’d ever coached. And at this point I think it is fair to compare him to peers like Saka and Bellingham. By those standards he is far ahead in titles won, but fair to say not quite as central to our team as they are to theirs.
Long term thinking
I absolutely hope that guys like Kova and Rodri are too “injured” to play for their international teams but will be able to play for Liverpool, especially Rodri. The last thing I want in this world is losing Rodri again to injury.
Haaland I think had a legit issue in his Norway game (that wasn’t some Man City plot, or he wouldn’t have started the game) but it doesn’t seem too serious.
Chelsea
Really? I think you guys are a legitimate contender again already and it’s very clear you haven’t peaked yet

We did not run away with all those titles, mind. Liverpool was insanely close for a few years, and Arsenal had us beat for most of last season.
I think his start to his first season was SO incredible that this year seems more normal by comparison.
Excellent question
If you’re following City then it absolutely makes sense to watch our upcoming opponents. Go for that Liverpool match. Especially as a new fan you need to get accustomed to all the players and this is a great way to do it.
care for a friendly wager? i’ll spot you a goal
Does this include NT goals?
obviously I’m a City supporter and I love this but if I were a United fan, I’d think the whole thing was basically created just as a piss take.
I’m a City supporter and the answer is, absolutely, yes he has.
