The signing was just not smart. It was drastically different move to our prior 2 seasons’ mostly sound strategy of signing young players with clear resale value. He was on mammoth wages even prior to signing, meaning it’s impossible to resell, and he had to be a big hit otherwise it’s a big squad building failure.

Where do we go from here, when other players and their agents see this dude is one of our top 3 earners? What a mess.

6/10 is generous, guy offers absolutely nothing. When he’s playing in midfield, for periods of the game it feels like we’re playing a man down
