  • ETH can pick 2 young lads in the stadium, straight down to the pitch, put jerseys on them and tell them. “See that ball? If it’s not ours, then u need to take it back” and these 2 fans definitely would have better contribution to the game than Martial and Rashford. At least they would bother to run.

Pogba, Lingard, Dean, Ronaldo, Sancho and now McT, Rashford, Martial. Why are we keep getting stuck laziest and worst attitude players in the entire league.

If u are United board and u throw darts blind-folded at the list of players in EPL , it’s statistically impossible to gather so many shitty attitude players in one team. And somehow glazer’s board pulled off this feat.

  • U can take the same titles of every posts about United and bring back to Rangnick’s half season , then to Ole last season and Mourinho last season and LVG last season.

It all fits perfectly, the same problems, the same culture of laziness and acceptance of mediocrity. Players don’t run. Players don’t fight for 2nd ball. Players whined and complained about training too much, training too tough, training is too simple.

United is the same damn team that stuck in 2014-2015 while other teams have progressed for 10 years. And back then, this standard may get to compete for top 4. Now? We should be 8th to 12th place kind of team.

Everything is rotten in glazers club. From the tangible things like crumbling stadiums, outdated training facilities, non existence scouting, lack of investment in Youth Academy. To intangible things like the culture, the acceptance of mediocrity, everyone just need to be average and haphazard passable as long as sponsors money are still rolling in.

  • Downed tool? Not yet.

But I do believe they have a weak mentality that easily collapsed if thing doesn’t go their ways in the match.

Some gets frustrated turn into anger ( Antony , Garnacho ) , some switched their brain off into auto pilot ( Dalot, McT) , some turn into stubborn old mule ( Bruno, Rashford is the type that will attempt the same thing again and again if it doesn’t work the first few times).

All these collapse in mentality results in lack of focus on the game and forgetting their training / planning.

ETH , in opposite of Ole, he’s the same type technical manager as Arteta or Pep, requires your brains to be always turned up: where is the ball position on the field? Where are you on the field? Where are your markers? Where are the opponents standing? Which directions to take the ball next, which areas are u supposed to move to next.

He wants players to be always thinking on their feet, on and off the ball. Too bad he’s only allowed to remind all players to focus once at half time, United players need to be trained mentally, they let external stuff affect their focus too easily.
