Let’s lay off Rammers. Clearly being dropped has knocked his confidence. Piling on is not going to help him at all.

Everton should have been docked points for the season they cheated and thus retroactively relegated and replaced by the team that was impacted by them avoiding relegation.

By the same token, City should be docked points in every season they cheated. And then forced to compensate teams that missed on the Champions League because of their cheating.

The Everton decision wasn’t harsh, in fact I think they got off lightly.

If these clubs prevail over Everton then City will also be on the hook for paying compensation to whoever came second in the Premier League when they won it and whoever missed out on a CL place when they finished top four.

Patrick Viera is the answer here. That’s where he played when we were defending and he was incredibly effective.
