Villa so fucking naive.
Villa so fucking naive.
So back in black for away days?
Saka RW. Ljungberg recommended him and now he’s made Ljungberg’s position his own. The best player to ever emerge from Hale End and one of the best in his position on Earth.
Sanchez LW. Martinelli is developing into a stronger player but until that happens, Sanchez remains the best Arsenal left winger since Robert Pires. It’s a pity how it all ended.
He rises on the Sabbath.
But he’s playing against Romero on Wednesday.
Ramsey and Cazorla.
Ozil was great but didn’t have either of their gamebreaking qualities. Odegaard needs to have more seasons like 22/23.
Carlos Vela’s super power was chipping the keeper.
I’m going to go with Partey.
Arteta, Song and Coquelin all did very well there but we just don’t have a great DM tradition at Arsenal (despite abandoning the 4-4-2 in like 2008). Partey and now Rice, are so clear of their predecessors it’s actually mental.
Matt Upson. He was with us for 6 seasons but hardly got a game. We then shipped him off and he went on to become a full English international.
Saliba.
Even in a short period, he’s clearly the most exciting Arsenal centreback since Sol Campbell.
Nacho was a shining light in that era. I feel our current choices will surpass him eventually but they haven’t had the time yet.
Azeez on the bench. Thought he was out on loan.
White fell out with one of the assistants. He then told Phil Foden his hair makes him look like Morty Smith.
If Arsenal was in Man U or Spurs’ current position, I don’t think Arteta would be in this image.
