Bensebaini finally playing dangerous balls. Tears in my balls.

Milan playing down a CB, now we’re fucked. Games like these we choke away.
I smell a Malen R9 regenclass incoming for this second half
We must have watched different matches. The Dutch survived off of schoolboy long ball punt tactics. Two very fortunate opportunities, when Argentina dominated them with their own system throughout the 120. The Dutch were lucky to make it to extra time, let alone pens.
Nations League is a waste of my time but World Cup qualifying is an absolute joy to watch. I regularly watch COMNEBOL, and the entertainment value alone is second to none.
People downvoting you forget how hard it was for Inter after Mourinho departed. Inter’s squad had a last dance, and it was left to Eto’o/Zanetti to pick up the scraps on an aging underperforming squad.
GK- Keylor Navas: Incredibly underrated, almost disrespected keeper who I followed since his Levante days. National hero for Costa Rica.
LB - Roberto Carlos: Incredible highlight reel which I loved as a kid, but also a great player from the matches I managed to catch. Won everything.
CB - Diego Godin: He was a master of the dark arts, and didn’t need to be the fastest or strongest defender to be elite. A shithouse master with better defensive ability than nearly all his contemporaries.
CB - Alessandro Nesta: I watched him play in his twilight years and I felt inspired. My pick alongside Maldini for best defenders I’ve ever seen.
RB - Dani Alves: Mesmerizing player, terrible person, and I feel like subbing him out for Pizszcek honestly.
LM - Marco Reus: Club captain for years and stuck around with us even when the biggest clubs came calling.
CM - Ngolo Kante: One of the best midfielders of all time. Too much fun to watch him nullify tons of elite players.
CM - Renato Tapia: Elite Peruvian player, and the only shining light I see in this period.
RM - Arjen Robben: I’m a fan of the way he cuts inside
CF - Lionel Messi: He makes the list because he’s hands down the greatest player to grace the sport. Better than Maradona or Pele imo.
CF - Paolo Guerrero: One of the big reasons why went through a national team renaissance. Brought me so much joy in a very dark period for Peruvian football. He was elite for the national team.
Arturo Vidal should shoot to the top of most of these lists. Played everything from centerback to forward with varying degrees of success at an elite level.
The gamble might be that he unlocks more situations that ultimately beat out the risk of a massive turnover. Funny thing is with Upamecano/Kim starting, you have two excellent distributors of the ball anyway, but there still is an over-reliance on Kimmich in buildup.
I wish Maguire scored that for chaos to ensue
LOL we’re fucking trash. Here’s another 12 years of misery incoming.
